Crashes, impossible events

After the update, the game has become very laggy and crashes constantly. When I click on the Colosseum to collect my dragon and my prize, it crashes. When I start racing on the Dragon Track, it crashes (wasting one of my 10 uses of the track.) Whenever I successfully obtain a piece for Gaia, it crashes (sometimes losing the piece altogether.) It has become borderline unplayable.

Also, the events would be fun if the prizes werent so ridiculously expensive, some of the best ones costing 12,000+ eggs/roses/tickets/etc. There is absolutely no way I can collect enough within the time limit, even playing multiple times a day, to get even half the prizes without spending real money. Its not fun anymore. I have been playing Dragon Vale for years and am upset at how Backflip is treating loyal players.
